Ed earns his living as a licensed funeral director, but finds his joy as a plantaholic!” He is the last original member of the Tamanend Park Herb Gardening Club of Southampton, PA, of which he is the past and current President. He is also past president of the Philadelphia Rose Society, longtime member of the American Rose Society and a Master Consulting Rosarian. He’s the past president of the Delaware Valley Branch of the American Begonia Society; a longtime member of the Tri - State and Delaware Valley Hosta Societies; and a hosta judge.  Ed is a longtime member of PHS, and a 35 year volunteer, judge and exhibitor at the Phildelphia. Flower Show; a collector of scented geraniums, lavender and rosemary plants, and " Mostly, he’s a Plant Nut !" Ed is married with 2 adult (Thank God!) children and 2 grandchildren that both like to dig in the garden.
