This presentation will briefly touch on some of the basic agroecological principles and their use for urban agriculture in the Philadelphia region. Will include tips on organic fruit and vegetable production and resources for our region.

- Lisa Mosca
Lisa Mosca has an undergraduate degree in Biology from Swarthmore College and an MS in Environmental Studies. She began her study of agroecology in college, followed by a year at the Land Institute in Kansas helping with their perennial polyculture research. In 2001 she received a Certificate in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from UC Santa Cruz. She has been working on organic production farms continually since 2001 and with urban producers for over a decade.
