Bloom Philly Festival, the official Countdown to the Philadelphia Flower Show encourages everyone in the Philadelphia region to break out of the winter doldrums and celebrate the coming of spring! Flower Show excitement is contagious as it spreads across the region.
The Bloom Philly Festival will run from February 25 to March 9. Visit back for details on all the spring fun, coming soon!
The entries are in! Check back for online voting and photos. Windows decorations must be complete by Friday, February 24.
On Wednesday, March 1 from 5-8 pm, the Philadelphia Art Museum will host a painting class, inspired by a Dutch painting from the Museum’s permanent collection. Take a moment to stop and sketch the roses, drawing inspiration from a large scale still life in the Museum's Great Stair Hall. Inspired by both American Watercolor in the Age of Homer and Sargent and the upcoming PHS Philadelphia Flower Show, Holland: Flowering the World.
No reservations required; all ability levels welcome. Class is led by a Museum Teaching Artist.
