The Flower Show is produced by The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS), a non-profit organization and America's first horticultural institution. Its Philadelphia Green program, restores neighborhood parks, creates community gardens, revitalizes vacant land, and maintains treasured public landscapes. This past year, PHS has

• helped feed 640 families through our City Harvest Program and growing 38,000 lbs of fresh produce through our network of community gardens
• planted 20,000 trees though the 3,600 Tree Tenders trained by PHS
• supported 103 parks through the Parks Revitalization Program and creating safe environments for kids
